“Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen,” Meechie said. “I am Meechie, and I will be reciting
a poem that I wrote entitled, ‘I’m the Greatest’.”
As he cleared his throat, he looked directly into the crowd and saw Mr. J smiling.
“It took some time for me to understand,
That I was created by the hands
of The One who designed the planet
earth, the galaxy, the universe…”
Meechie said, as he went on to complete his poem with eloquence and confidence.
As the judges listened, they were so impressed with his delivery and his poetry,
they awarded Meechie with the first place prize package and a huge trophy!
Meechie was ecstatic!
