“You know it!’’ Meechie exclaimed as he quoted his favorite lines from one of his favorite
morning TV shows. “Momma, you know I want to know it all. I think that’s why the seasoned
lady at church with the dark shadow on her top lip and all the bird feathers in her giant hat told
her friend, “He’s a Mr. Know It All.” Meechie said.
As his grandmother chuckled, Meechie looked and asked, “Momma, are you laughing?” As they
laughed a little bit together, before Momma said, “And what did you say?”
“Now of course, I didn’t respond because that is not my name. Hey! I’m just trying to see the
world,” Meechie said as he gave Momma a big hug.
”That’s right Meechie! Get all you can get and see all you can see,” Momma said proudly.
