what was going through his mind at this time as these tears began to release the horrors
that only he experienced and only we could imagine. The beauty of this moment to those
who were present was, he did not attempt to hold them in. It was a spiritual moment; as I
glanced across the scene, I noticed others who were present began to weep in a manner
that was consistent to Rev. Peter johnson. These weren't just any tears, you could literally
and figuratively see that the tears were coming from something much bigger than himself.
Rev. Peter Johnson sat back in his chair with a sense of comfort and you could see him
exhale while crossing his arms as if this was his last sense of defense.
His eyes told his story and you could see that he was ready to release all the weight of
responsibilities he had carried as he from time to time wondered why God allowed me to
still be here. He un-crossed his arms and with anticipation of every word that was coming
next from Joseph Copeland, Rev. Peter Johnson looked directly at the cameraman and
everyone could see Rev. Peter Johnson's face begins releasing tears of his ancestors, his
family and friends passing and his enemies who he has forgiven along with the many
painful memories he can never truly forget. Those memories which have haunted Rev. Peter
Johnson for years.
